“Interesting,” muttered Michael, as he leaned back in his chair. He’d seen the listing for his old home on the website a few times already. This time he decided to take a closer look, and started clicking through the photos.

A gentle smile played on his lips. His shoulders dropped slightly, and his fingers drummed lightly on his desk. He remembered climbing trees in the backyard, playing hide-and-seek with his siblings, and the smell of freshly baked bread that always filled the kitchen on Sunday mornings.

The details of the house were imprinted in his mind, and these pictures brought the home back to life. He felt the tension that was in his chest, dissipate. He let out a long breath and slowly relaxed into his chair.
